New date for postponed Capodistrias Museum concert

The concert will now take place on Thursday 18 July at 21:00.

Tickets for the original date are still valid and those who wish to purchase tickets can obtain them at the Philharmonic Society (09:30–13:30 & 17:00-20:00) and at the Capodistrias Museum (10:00 - 16:00). If anyone wishes a refund, they can go to the Philharmonic Society office in the mornings.

The Film Evening in the Museum garden that was scheduled for Thursday 18 has now been moved to Thursday 25th at 21:30.

The band, conducted by Spyros Prosoparis, will play works by Beethoven, Schubert, Mantzaros, Peroulis and Padova from the time of Ioannis Capodistrias with the soloist baritone Panayiotis Pratsos.

The connection between the musical works and the First Governor of Greece (Capodistrias) will be made clear through the narration of Natalia Capodistria.

The proceeds from the concert will go exclusively to support the work of the Capodistrias Museum and Capodistrias Study Centre.

Tickets: 10 Euros - including a guided tour of the museum 19:00 - 20:50.
