Beach Tennis Tournament 16-19 August

CORFU. The Tournament will take place at NAOK Beach Tennis courts 16 - 19 August with the final taking place on Monday 19 August at 18:30.
The tournament will be opened by Nikos Anthis, who will present the competition programme and will keep people updated on its progress. DJ Dimitris Apostolou from 88.8 Star FM will be responsible for the music throughout the event.
Children from the Children's Centre for Creative activities 'What I Love' will be at the tournament to get to know the sport better.
There will also be majorettes from Nanti Rizou's Dance School 'DanceSport DS'. The physiotherapist Stefania Savati will be on hand if needed at the final.
NAOK (Corfu Sailing Club) President Giorgos Dimoulis said, "It gives me great pleasure to welcome the Corfu public for the fifth year running to the Beach Tennis Tournament - which has now become well-established. The club has set up a special area for beach tennis players to train and we aim to promote the sport as much as we can. I call on Corfiots to come and we are certain they will enjoy the matches and all the other activities."

The club will provide rackets and balls. At the end of the tournament cups and medals will be presented. Doubles teams who wish to take part should contact the NAOK Secretariat 26610 30470 / 6986 257502 or visit the Facebook Page.
