Canadair planes and firefighting helicopter in Old Perithia

CORFU. Firefighters are battling against two fires in Old Perithia while there is still daylight.
Canadair firefighting planes and a firefighting helicopter had to be deployed to help fight the fires on Pantokrator in an effort to control them before darkness falls. The Canadair and helicopter arrived on the scene just after 17:00 to join the battle against the flames along with 22 firefighters with fire engines and water trucks.
