CORFU. The Serbian Ambassador to Greece Dusan Spasojevic met with the Mayor of Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands at San Giacomo Old Town Hall.
Ms. Ydraiou welcomed the Ambassador on his courtesy visit and talked about the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples. "Amidst the hardships of the war and the insurmountable difficulties the people of Corfu stood by the Serbians being looked after on the island and showed a very moving solidarity. History is proud to talk about what happened at that time."
At the meeting it was agreed that this year's memorial events will be held on 25 and 26 September.
