Ioannis Salafountidis art exhibition at Corfu Art Gallery
The artist uses a variety of techniques and materials which, combined with his modern thoughts and views, lead to innovative compositions. The special shapes and colours create abstract forms which display the deeper meanings in the artist's works.

'CERN' Exhibition in the Municipal Theatre Foyer
The ΄CERN΄ exhibition will be held in the foyer of Corfu Municipal Theatre presenting CERN experiments and research into Elementary Particle Physics.
On display will be experiments that have taken place at CERN and research into Elementary Particle Physics with photos, posters and short videos. There will be guided tours until the exhibition ends.

Dimitris Miliotis exhibition: "Metamorphosis" - sketches and engravings at the Municipal Art Gallery
The artist has held individual exhibitions in Corfu, Athens, Pireaus, Ioannina and Serres and has taken part in group exhibitions in Greece and in Bologna, Berlin, Barcelona, Birmingham, Bilbao, Bristol, Brussels, Madrid, Porto and Strasbourg.

The exhibition opens at the Municipal Art Gallery on Friday 26 July at 20:00.

Exhibition of Maps: "Corfu by the Great Cartographers"
Corfu Municipal Art Gallery is exhibiting some of the artistically and scientifically important maps of Corfu from its collection.
From Thursday 25 April the works of these cartographers will be on exhibition in chronological order, covering four centuries, allowing us to see the development of cartography from the 17th century Baroque period, when aesthetics dominated, to the early 19th century, when there was an almost complete absence of any decorative items.
The exhibition will display 15 engravings in the central room of the Gallery's Permanent Exhibition.

Ano Korakiana Green Spot will be doing its bit and cleaning up the main road in the village from 'Koukouki' to the sports field.

Clean-up in Sinies
Meet-up: 09:00 at Eucalyptus Taverna, Agios Stefanos, Sinies.
Cava Tzortzatos will be providing water in the morning and beer at the end - many thanks for this!
Bring gloves, sunscreen, hats, swimsuits (!) etc. Rubbish bags will be provided.
Recycling of items collected is encouraged.
We may need boats to bring full bags from Erimitis.
World Cleanup Day - Issos beach
To make this event even more fun there will be Zero Waste Camping after the beach clean-up with Abalanche Crew! The recyclables collected will the separated and taken to be recycled with the help of Garbage Art Corfu.

The Municipality of Central Corfu is playing an active role and contributing to sustainable urban mobility with a symbolic 'Car-free Day'. The following roads will be for the exclusive use of pedestrians, cyclists or public transport:
Sof. Dousmmani, Agon. Polytechnio, Dimokratias Ave. (up to Desylla junction), Mitr. Athanasiou, Zavitsianou, Donzelot, Arseniou.
Car-free Day will be on Sunday 22 September from 10:00 to 14:00.
