CORFU. The fire broke out just after 16:00 in a field in Melitsa, near Canal d΄ Amour.
Fire broke out in the Sidari area just after 16:00 in a field in Melitsa, near Canal d΄ Amour.
Fortunately, the fire didn't spread and firefighters were able to put it out quite quickly. It did, however, burn 2 stremma of land.
The Fire Service sent 5 fire engines and 2 PZL planes in case they were needed.
