Municipal Day Centre for the Homeless is collecting donations of basic necessities

CORFU. The Municipal Day Centre for the Homeless and Equal Society Community Pharmacy are asking the public to support ΄Solidarity Basket΄.
The collection is to help the organisations to provide daily support for families with financial difficulties and individuals who can't meet their daily living needs by providing them with breakfast, primary health and hygiene care, vocational guidance psycho-social support.
On Friday 11 October after shopping at the Sklavenitis supermarket on Eth. Lefkimmis-Kanalia Rd. between 09:30 and 16:30 we can give donations of packaged food, sanitary and healthcare goods as well as cleaning products in the special basket at the supermarket entrance.
We can provide support with the following products:
- Honey, jam and butter
- Coffee - Greek and instant
- Evaporated milk
- Concentrated juice and fruit juice
- Rusks
- Tsoureki
- Laundry detergent
- Washing-up liquid
- Floor cleaners
- Shampoo, liquid soap
- Cotton wool
- Toilet paper
- Kitchen paper
- Razors
