Contract signed for construction of Agios Ioannis Square

CORFU. The project’s budget is €100,000, it is funded by the ‘Philodimos’ programme and will be completed in 6 months.
The contract of the project ‘Construction of Agios Ioannis Square’ was signed today by the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Mayor Meropi Ydraiou and the contractor Stamatis Konstantis, in the presence of the Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros.
The project’s budget is €100,000, it is funded by the ‘Philodimos’ programme and will be completed in 6 months.
The Central Corfu Municipality announced the following:
“This is a project that the residents of Agios Ioannis have been requesting for decades. The construction of the square will upgrade the area, which, following the completion of the council houses, is in need of such kind of projects. It should be noted that the renovation of the playground will soon follow and will be funded by the ‘Leader’ programme”.
