April arrivals at Corfu Airport higher than 2019 - UK top of list

CORFU. Greater number of destinations and airlines, such as TUI and Jet2, which are increasing the number of flights from the UK.
The first full month of the tourist season has ended with about 30 more international flights than in April 2019 and large numbers of passengers on each flight, according to the President of Corfu Civil Aviation Employees Union Dimitris Roussos.
The UK was top of the list with 152 flights, followed by Germany with 126, Italy with 65, France with 36 and Poland with 20.
There are 36 flights scheduled for Sunday, the first day of May (8 more than last Sunday), with nearly 1,100 international flights scheduled to arrive at Corfu Airport - at a similar level to the same month in 2019. Towards the end of the month the average number of daily flights will be over 50.

It is worth noting that Easyjet has already extended its schedule for flights from London, Manchester and Bristol by one week to 6 November.
