Pandotis: Invitation to participate in 23rd Panhellenic Torch Relay

The "PANDOTIS" Association of Volunteer Blood Donors and Bone Marrow Donors invites everyone to participate in a special event, the 23rd Panhellenic Volunteer Blood Donors Torch Relay, which symbolises the power of giving and solidarity.

The Association of Volunteer Blood Donors and Bone Marrow Donors PANDOTIS invites you to take part in the 23rd Panhellenic Volunteer Blood Donors Torch Relay, which is organised every year in Greece by the Panhellenic Federation of Volunteer Blood Donor Associations (POSEA).

Meet up in the square opposite the offices of the Corfu Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross.

The 23rd POSEA Volunteer Blood Donors Torch Relay is co-organised by Pandotis in collaboration with and with the participation of:

• Corfu General Hospital

• The Ionian University

• The Directorate of Secondary Education of Corfu

• The Regional Branch of Corfu of the Hellenic Red Cross

• Corfu Philharmonic Society

• The Ionian University Volunteer Blood Donors’ Association

The Flame of Love will be lit on Wednesday, October 1st, at 11:00 a.m. in the Blood Donation Department of Corfu General Hospital, and will then illuminate our town. During the evening route of the Flame, cultural events will take place.

The 23rd POSEA Panhellenic Torch Relay is held under the auspices of:

• The Hellenic Parliament

• The National Blood Donation Centre

• The Hellenic Thalassemia Federation

• The Region of Peloponnese

• The Municipality of Xylokastro–Evrostina

Since participants will be provided with POSEA T-shirts, torches, and balloons (limited supply), please register by September 28th for better coordination of the Torch Relay.
