Sinies 2025 - 26th International Dance Group Festival

CORFU. From Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th June.
Sinies Cultural – Educational Society, remaining faithful to its tradition, is organising the 26th International Dance Group Meeting "SINIES 2025", a landmark event in the island’s cultural life. The event will begin on Wednesday, June 25, and conclude on Sunday, June 29. This year's event will feature the following groups:

Event Programme:

Wednesday 25/06: A formal visit to the Mayor of North Corfu and an exchange of gifts. The festival will officially open on the main stage in the courtyard of North Corfu Town Hall in Acharavi.

Thursday 26/06: The festival expands to other areas of the Municipality of North Corfu in collaboration with local cultural societies.

In the village of Perithia, at the forecourt of Saint Elias Church at 20:00.

In Avliotes square, at 21:00.

Friday 27/06: A formal visit to the Town Hall in Corfu Town and a meeting between the delegations and the Mayor for an exchange of gifts and to welcome the guests.
A parade of the dance groups will follow through the central streets of the town, culminating at the colonnade of the Palace of St. George and St. Michael for the evening's artistic programme. -
Saturday 28/06: The fourth day of the gathering takes place at the headquarters of Sinies Cultural Society, in Agia Varvara – Porta Sinion.
In a picturesque natural setting, the dance groups will enchant the audience with their performances.
All events begin at 21:00, and admission is free to the public.
This event is held under the auspices of CIOFF, the International Organisation that is an official partner of UNESCO for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage. Sinies Cultural Society is a member of CIOFF and the event is being co-organised with the Ionian Islands Regional Authority and the Municipality of North Corfu.
