Man killed in accident while working in Marathia

CORFU. The preliminary investigation into the incident is being conducted by the South Corfu Police Department.
A man around 70 years of age lost his life while carrying out work on Thursday morning, September 18, in Marathias.
The man was working with an excavating machine in a field when a nearby pole fell and fatally injured him.
The police arrived at the scene, along with an ambulance, which transported the man to Corfu Hospital, where his death was confirmed.
The preliminary investigation into the incident is being conducted by the South Corfu Police Department.
