Corfu Airport arrivals up 36.8% in January
CORFU. Since 2017, the year the 14 regional airports were concessioned, Fraport Greece has welcomed more than 252 million passengers.
(Fraport) Corfu “Ioannis Capodistrias” International Airport recorded the largest increase among Fraport’s 14 airports, with a 36.8% rise in January compared to the same month in 2025, bringing the total number of passengers to 13,592.
In January 2026, the airports managed by Fraport Greece handled 718,000 passengers in a single month, marking an 8.1% increase (+54,000 passengers) compared to January 2025.
Domestic passenger traffic reached 441,000 passengers, representing a 10.4% increase compared to January 2025.
International passenger traffic amounted to 276,000 passengers, recording a 4.6% increase compared to January 2025.
Since 2017, the year the 14 regional airports were concessioned, Fraport Greece has welcomed more than 252 million passengers.
