Man arrested for cultivating cannabis

CORFU. A 45-year-old man was arrested by the Regional Drug Squad.
The man had been under surveillance and he confessed to having a piece of land near his home where he was cultivating cannabis. A legal search was then conducted with the aid of a sniffer dog and the following were found and confiscated:
- A glass jar with 3.7g unprocessed cannabis.
- 21 cannabis plants from 0.34 - 1.95m which were uprooted.
Corfu Central Port Authority is conducting the interrogation.
