CORFU. With the slogan "The drillings are knocking on our door - take a stand!"
There was a different kind of presence at the swearing-in of the new Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Town Council.
A silent protest was organised by Fossil Free Corfu, who have been active recently raising public awareness about the environmental and economic impact of drilling for hydrocarbons in the Ionian Sea.
