€5,000 fines for violating quarantine in Zakynthos

                                                    IONIAN ISLANDS. Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure the Covid-19 measures are being adhered to.
                                On Tuesday afternoon, August 10, fines of €5,000 for violating home quarantine were imposed on two Greek nationals in Zakynthos.
In another case in Zakynthos, early on Wednesday morning, August 11, a cafe was fined €2,000 and the business closed for 7 days for not observing proper opening hours.
On Tuesday 10 and early on Wednesday morning, 17 employees and customers in Corfu, 15 in Zakynthos, 1 in Lefkada and 1 in Cephalonia were fined €300 each for not wearing masks.
