CORFU. The Garitsa road between Douglas Column and Desyllas junction remains closed (09:30) due to high levels of water.
Municipal crews are working to clear the drains of seaweed. The flooded area will be reopened when weather conditions allow rainwater to drain away normally.
The section of the road has been closed since 22:00 on Thursday night, following a decision by the Civil Protection Service.
