Car stopped from falling into sea in Benitses by tree

CORFU. The accident happened just after 09:00 this morning - the driver is uninjured.
A car fell down a slope towards the sea in Benitses near the Karina Hotel. The accident happened just after 09:00 when the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons as yet unknown.
The car was travelling from town towards Benitses when the driver lost control - the car crossed to the other side of the road and hit a parked vehicle. It then continued over a slope and was luckily stopped from falling into the sea by a tree.
Fortunately, it did not fall from a great height and the 60-year-old woman driver was uninjured.
Police and firefighters went to the scene.
