CORFU. He was rushed to Corfu General Hospital, where, despite the doctors’ efforts, he passed away.
A 25-year-old man met a tragic end on Tuesday morning when the motorcycle he was riding veered off course at Rekini. The fatal accident occurred at Angonari, when for reasons still unknown, the young rider lost control of his motorcycle and went off the road. An ambulance from the Ionian Care Medical Centre rushed to the scene and provided first aid to the severely injured man. The 25-year-old was urgently transferred to the General Hospital of Corfu, where, despite the doctors’ efforts, he passed away.
The exact causes of the accident are being investigated by the competent authorities.
