AHEPA hosts festive meal and distributes gifts for children from ΄Angalia΄
CORFU. Children and escorts from the Municipal ‘Angalia’ (Embrace) Social Care Home enjoyed a wonderful festive meal.
The AHEPA Corfu Chapter concluded 2025 with a beautiful act of love, offering meaningful support to the local community. As part of an annual initiative that has been ongoing for eight consecutive years, children and caregivers from the Municipal Social Care Home “Angalia” (Embrace) had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful festive meal, held in a carefully prepared setting at the Pergola Restaurant on New Year’s Eve.
During the meal, the children had the joy of seeing their wishes fulfilled, as they had expressed them in letters to Santa Claus. Each wish was granted in the form of gifts, an experience that filled the children with emotion and gratitude. They warmly thanked the members of AHEPA for their dedication and continued support over all these years.
Special thanks are extended to the owner of the Pergola Restaurant, Athanasios Kostas, for his generous and spontaneous offering of the meal to the children of “Angalia.”
His contribution was truly meaningful, as within an atmosphere of hospitality and human warmth, the children were given the opportunity to receive their festive gifts, further strengthening the spirit of giving and solidarity that defines our mission. In addition, sincere thanks are extended to businessman Dimitrios Ninos for his particularly significant contribution toward the purchase of the children’s gifts.
