Second community tree-planting at Garitsa Park

(Garitsa 'Alsos' Cultural Association) We are pleased to announce the continuation of the environmental tree-planting initiative at Garitsa Park.

Following the strong interest and the “pleasant complaints” expressed by pupils from the 12th and 4th Primary Schools, who wished to take part in a similar activity, a new tree-planting event has been scheduled so that more children can have the opportunity to actively contribute to the protection and enhancement of the greenery in our area.

Meeting point: Basketball court in Garitsa Park

Pupils from the 4th and 12th Primary Schools will participate in the activity, in cooperation with the relevant municipal services, the Forestry Department, and our Association. The participation of children in such initiatives is an important lesson in environmental awareness and active involvement in protecting our natural surroundings.

Together we continue to care for Garitsa Park.
