Help at Home programme to resume in Phaeces district

CORFU. The meeting marked the beginning of a collaboration between the Municipal Authority and the beneficiaries, with the ultimate goal of providing better social care and support services to as many people as possible.
(Central Corfu Municipality) A meeting took place on Tuesday, April 29 between the Deputy Mayor for Social Policy, Welfare, and Social Work, Christos Skourtis, and the service staff, with almost all the presidents of the local communities of the Municipal Unit of Phaeces. The topic was the resumption of the Help at Home programme.
During the meeting, there was an extensive presentation of the services provided by the programme. Both sides were informed about the needs of the area’s residents, and the programme's staff was introduced, consisting of one social worker, one nurse, one psychologist, and one family assistant—roles deemed essential for the smooth operation of the programme.
To support the programme’s needs, a new vehicle has already been purchased, and an office has been allocated within the KEP building of the Phaeces Municipal Unit, which is currently being arranged and equipped.
