Fourth phase of runway reconstruction and refurbishment works at the airports of Zakynthos (ZTH), Cephalonia (EFL), Corfu (CFU), Samos (SMI), Rhodes (RHO), Mytilene (MJT), Mykonos (JMK), and Santorini (JTR)

As part of the ongoing, multi-level upgrade project of the regional airports, and having completed the third construction period, Fraport Greece, the managing and operating company of the 14 regional airports in Greece, will proceed with the fourth phase of individual works at these airports.

The dates for the suspension of runway operations at each airport are shown below:

(**) Excluding December 23, 24, and 31, 2025, and January 6 and 7, 2026.

It is noted that during the above periods, emergency flights (such as air ambulance, search and rescue, firefighting, humanitarian, state, and other flights of national character) will be able to operate using helicopters, while all other airport services will continue to be provided normally.

The works aim to further enhance the already high level of runway safety and include, among other things, extensive interventions for the upgrading of runway side safety zones (Runway Strips) and runway end safety areas (RESA).

In this context, the company invites passengers to take into account the scheduled runway closure periods when planning their upcoming trips.
