Christmas Village in Acharavi

For the 4th year, the North Corfu Municipality Christmas Village – 2025–2026 – will be open for celebration and gathering. It will be open from Saturday, December 20, 2025, to Saturday, January 3, 2026, daily from 4:00 PM at Acharavi Town Hall Square, inviting both children and adults to experience the magic of the festive season.

With the message “Health, Happiness, and Optimism in 2026,” the Municipality of North Corfu is organising a rich, multi-day festive programme full of music, singing, dance, children’s activities, choral and traditional dance performances, highlighting the participation of cultural societies, philharmonic bands, dance schools, and local organisations in the area.

This year’s programme includes, among other things:

• Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

• Ice Skating Rink

• Festive Train

• Wooden stalls with local products and festive treats

• Concerts and live music from philharmonic bands and musical groups

• Choral performances by cultural societies

• Dance performances by cultural societies and dance schools

• Children’s activities: animators, stilt walkers, face painting, and a magician

• New Year’s celebration and farewell to 2025

Additional festive activities: Throughout the duration of the Christmas Village, the following will also take place:

• Daily face painting

• Book exhibition and Playmobil diorama exhibition (from 22/12)

• Santa Run – Nighttime run (27/12)

• Christmas Ride – Evening bike ride (29/12)

The Christmas Village of the Municipality of North Corfu is an open space of joy, gathering, and creativity, promoting the local economy, social cohesion, and festive spirit throughout the region.

Admission to all events is free.
