CORFU. The bridge has suffered damage and its closure to traffic has caused great inconvenience to locals.
A team of Army engineers will be inspecting the bridge in North Corfu on Thursday 16 January.
Corfu ND MP Stefanos Gikas said that the inspection of the Bailey bridge is being conducted following a request from the North Corfu Municipality. The bridge, which is located in the Karousades - Velonades area, has suffered damage and the road has been closed to traffic, causing great inconvenience to locals.
