CORFU. Arillas and Afionas community councils, businesspeople and local groups are organising a meeting on Wednesday 12 February.

Former Arillas school.
All local residents are invited to the meeting to discuss and decide on the following topics:
- Update on the 'Clean Arillas 2019' programme - its continuation, development and improvement.
- Whether or not the Green Spot should continue operating and transfer of responsibility to Municipal Services.
- Funding for Arillas Green Spot.
- The role of Municipal representatives regarding these issues.
- The role of volunteers, 95% of whom are foreign nationals, who bear the difficult burden of recycling.
- Implementation of Municipal cleansing regulations.
