Man injured when gun went off while cleaning it

CORFU. A 70-year-old man was taken to Corfu Hospital yesterday after injuring himself with a shotgun.

According to police sources, the man suffered the injury while maintaining his shotgun, which discharged.

Initial information indicates that he suffered an abdominal wound and is being hospitalised out of danger.
