Over two hours delay for Igoumenitsa-Corfu ferry passengers

IGOUMENITSA. The delay was due to a truck that had come on board without a ticket.
Passengers travelling from Igoumenitsa to Corfu on Wednesday night, April 30 at 10:30 PM experienced significant inconvenience, as their journey was delayed by more than two hours.
A truck boarded the ferry 'Alkinoos,' which, according to reports, did not have a ticket and intended to travel to Corfu.
As reported by epiruspost.gr, the driver refused to disembark and later suffered a fainting episode, resulting in being transferred to the emergency department.
The co-driver of the truck was arrested and taken to Igoumenitsa Port Authority.
Eventually, a tow truck arrived to remove the vehicle, and the ferry departed for Corfu after midnight.
