School transportation contracts completed for year 2025–26

CORFU. The public service obligation routes will be covered by public transportation or through the provision of an allowance.
(Ionian Islands Regional Authority) The Ionian Islands Regional Authority has proceeded with the coverage of all routes related to the school transportation of pupils in Corfu.
Following three previous tender procedures, the Regional Unit of Corfu issued a fourth call, with a total budget of €433,097.17, in order to cover 13 routes that had been declared unassigned/unclaimed and concerned 262 pupils.
Following the relevant decision of the Regional Committee of the Ionian Islands Region, the transport of 8 routes was awarded to contractors, covering 174 pupils. For the remaining 5 routes, which were once again declared unassigned, the transportation of 50 pupils is being handled by public transportation, while another 38 pupils are being supported through the provision of an allowance to their guardians.
The assignment of all school transportation routes applies to both the current (2024–2025) and the upcoming (2025–26) school year.
