CORFU. The riders are dressed in elegant clothing inspired by vintage styles, which adds a sense of ΄gentility΄ to the entire event on May 18th in Corfu.

DGR focuses on classic motorcycles and stylish riders who take to the streets of their towns with the aim of raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programmes.

The money raised supports the work of Movember, which funds initiatives for prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

Globally, prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men, with 1.4 million men diagnosed with the disease each year.

Over 10 million men worldwide are currently living with or beyond a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Funding from DGR has enabled Movember to invest in biomedical research that is leading to new tests and treatments—particularly for men with high-risk disease—while Movember’s global clinical quality registries are helping doctors improve care and reduce harmful side effects.

On Sunday, May 18th, starting from Kofineta, the Corfu Gentleman's Ride 2025 will take place—a charity motorcycle ride in aid of prostate cancer.

Start time: 11:00 a.m.

The Idea Behind the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is an annual charity motorcycle event that combines a love for classic and vintage motorcycles. The ride is held globally with the aim of raising awareness about men’s health. Specifically, through donations and sponsorships, funds are collected to support prostate cancer research as well as men’s mental health.

A trademark feature: the impressive attire of the participants

Riders are dressed in elegant clothing inspired by vintage styles, which adds a sense of “gentility” to the entire event. After all, this isn’t a race for speed but a celebration of riding, charity, and of course, motorcycles.

The upcoming event—expected to be the largest yet, according to organisers—will take place on May 18th, with Triumph as the official partner for the 12th consecutive year. Participants will have the chance to win various valuable prizes, including a brand-new Triumph motorcycle from the company’s lineup.

Registration is free and can be completed through the official website: https://www.gentlemansride.com/. Even if you can’t attend, you can still make a donation to support the cause. Already, 21,000 riders have registered for this year’s event. Stay tuned for updates and information about related events in Greece.
