Central Corfu Municipality receives 5,000 leaflets about responsible pet ownership from Zero Stray Academy

CORFU. This initiative aims to raise public awareness and promote a responsible attitude toward pets, with the ultimate goal of reducing the number of strays and improving the coexistence of people and animals in the urban environment.
The Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands received five thousand informational leaflets on responsible pet ownership from the Zero Stray Academy. The leaflets were delivered to the Deputy Mayor of Health and Head of the Primary Sector, Spyridon Galanis, as part of the Municipality's collaboration with the organisation to promote animal welfare and raise public awareness.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness and promote a responsible attitude toward pets, with the ultimate goal of reducing the number of strays and improving the coexistence of people and animals in the urban environment.
The leaflets will be distributed via the printed bills of DEYAK, in order to reach as many residents as possible.
The Municipality thanked the Zero Stray Academy for the donation and expressed its commitment to continuing actions that promote public awareness and responsible pet ownership within the local community.
