Culture Minister Lina Mendoni in Corfu 7 and 8 July

Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni will pay a two-day visit to Corfu on Monday, July 7, and Tuesday, July 8, focusing on the cultural management of the Old Town and meetings with local authorities. On Monday evening, the Minister will inaugurate the exhibition “The Sound of Silence: Zen Painting” at the Museum of Asian Art, while on Tuesday morning she will hold meetings with the Regional Governor of the Ionian Islands, Yiannis Trepeklis, and the Mayor of Central Corfu, Stefanos Poulimenos.

A large delegation from the Ministry of Culture will accompany her during the visit, highlighting the importance of the initiative for the protection and promotion of the Old Town.
