Lorry giving off foul smell taken off ferry

CORFU. The stench spread throughout the vessel, creating an unbearable atmosphere for the other passengers.
This ordeal — a violation of both regulations and common sense — seems to have no end.
The ludicrous incident took place on the Corfu–Igoumenitsa route at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, when one of two lorries departing from the Goggakis company, bound for Aspropyrgos in Attica, was granted permission to board the ferry despite the second lorry being denied boarding.
However, once the lorry entered the ferry, the stench spread throughout the vessel, creating an unbearable atmosphere for the other passengers. As a result, the ferry hastily disembarked the lorry with the foul cargo before continuing its journey.
The two vehicles — along with any others required to transport the spoiled animal remains from the Goggakis facility — must now travel on ferries designated for the special transport of noxious loads.
