CORFU. They were supplying electricity to their homes with an improvised connection to the power supply network.
Three people were arrested in Corfu yesterday morning (19/9) by police for stealing electricity.
Following an inspection in collaboration with a DEDDIE crew, it was found that the three had created an improvised connection to the power supply network and acquired their electricity illegally.
The three were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
