                                                    CORFU. There were police checks on 464 vehicles and 563 individuals with 13 people being arrested (8 in Zakynthos, 4 in Cephalonia and 1 in Corfu).
                                Between 18:00 on 26 November and 02:00 on 27 November police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada carried out checks for the following:
464 vehicles and 563 individuals were checked, leading to 13 arrests - 1 in Corfu, 8 in Zakynthos and 4 in Cephalonia - for the following offences:
- 1 for illegal possession of weapons
- 1 for noise pollution
- 2 businesses for lack of health certificate
	 
28 vehicles were immobilised for driving without a licence, driving under the influence, not wearing crash helmets, being uninsured and being without MOT.
There were also 6 offences of smoking in no smoking areas. Police also confiscated a small amount of unprocessed cannabis and a 20.5cm knife.

	- 7 driving under the influence

	- 11 not wearing seat belts

	- 1 using mobile phone whilst driving
- 2 driving on wrong side of road
- 1 running a red light
- 1 for dangerous driving
- 2 driving on wrong side of road
- 1 running a red light
- 1 for dangerous driving
	- 14 without driving licences
	- 4 with uninsured vehicles
